![]() ![]() If you don't have snapshots you would be looking at third party file recovery software or a data recovery company, I know there are some good ones in the UK if you need some pointers. Any duplicate you will be prompted on copy via windows so just choose no and you would hopefully end up with just the missing files being copied over. If you have them from prior to him deleting them you could clone those snapshots to a new share and then copy the data back to original share. Unzip and find the snapper.txt file, this would show you all your snapshots and their creation dates. ![]() And you can quickly delete all files in the Recycle Bin by right-clicking on the Recycle Bin icon and then clicking the Empty Recycle Bin option. If you download the logs, System > Logs > Download Logs Deleting files to Recycle Bin is safe as you can restore deleted files if you need to access those files for some reason in the future. If it's X-RAID you must be on a v6 OS NAS (which the Ultras and 2100 wouldn't be) so there is a chance you had snapshots enabled without knowing and that would allow recovery of the files at the very least.
